- Mix the cream cheese and the 2 tablespoons of margarine until smooth.
- Add the cooked chicken, salt, pepper, milk, and chopped onion; mix well.
- Separate the crescent rolls into 4 rectangles and firmly press together where perforated.
- Put 1/2 cup of the meat mixture into each roll rectangle.
- Pull up the corners of each rectangle and twist to seal.
- Pinch the edges together to enclose the filling.
- Brush the tops with margarine and sprinkle with crushed seasoned croutons.
- Bake at 350°F on an ungreased pan for 25 to 35 minutes until golden brown.
