Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. frozen green peas
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. cold water
  • 2 c. cooked, cut chicken
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. buttermilk biscuit mix
  • 2 c. grated cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Rinse green peas under cold water to separate, then drain.
  3. Combine green peas, cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, 1/2 cup of milk, salt, and pepper in a saucepan.
  4. Heat the mixture just to boiling, stirring frequently.
  5. Reduce heat and keep warm while preparing biscuits.
  6. Prepare buttermilk biscuit mix according to package instructions.
  7. Bake biscuits until golden brown and cooked through.
