Tips & Substitutions

For a lighter version, consider using olive oil instead of shortening for browning the chicken. You can substitute the cream of celery soup with a homemade white sauce or another cream soup flavor. Fresh herbs can enhance the flavor, so feel free to use fresh parsley or oregano instead of dried. If you're short on time, pre-cooked chicken can be used to speed up the process.

Serving Suggestions

Serve Chicken Sorrento with a fresh green salad or steamed vegetables for a complete meal. It pairs beautifully with Chicken Noodle Delight Casserole for a comforting dinner spread. A side of garlic bread or crusty rolls can complement the dish nicely and help soak up the creamy sauce.

Storage & Reheating

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, cover the dish with foil to retain moisture and heat in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 20 minutes or until heated through. You can also microwave individual portions, ensuring they are heated evenly.
