Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons butter or oleo
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of potato soup
  • 2 cans milk
  • 10 ounces mixed vegetables or 1 can Veg-All, drained
  • 7 ounces boned chicken, drained
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook chopped onions in butter until tender.
  2. Add remaining ingredients to the onions and heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Adjust with more milk, lemon juice, hot sauce, and salt as needed.
  4. Serve hot, optionally in a crock-pot for slow cooking.
