Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 jar (16 oz) Alfredo sauce
  • 1 can (14-15 oz) whole kernel corn drained
  • 1 cup frozen peas thawed
  • 1 jar (4.5 oz) sliced mushrooms drained
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the chicken breasts in vegetable oil.
  2. Transfer the browned chicken to a slow cooker.
  3. In a bowl, combine the Alfredo sauce, drained corn, thawed peas, drained mushrooms, water, garlic salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  6. Serve the chicken and sauce over cooked linguine.
