- In a bowl, beat the egg yolks and add water, oil, vanilla, almond flavoring, and sugar; mix well.
- In another bowl, beat the egg whites with 1 teaspoon of cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the yolk mixture until combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased tube pan.
- Bake at 325°F (163°C) for 50 minutes, then increase temperature to 350°F (177°C) and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let cool before removing from the pan.
