Ingredients

  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 can chili beef soup
  • 3/4 lb. extra lean ground beef
  • 1 c. macaroni
  • 3 slices sharp processed American cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni in boiling salted water until done, about 10 to 12 minutes. Drain thoroughly.
  2. Brown ground beef in a skillet.
  3. Add the soups and the macaroni to the skillet.
  4. Heat the mixture for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until bubbly.
  5. Slice cheese slices in half diagonally and place on top of the hot mixture. Cover for a few minutes to allow the cheese to melt slightly.
  6. Serve at once.
