Ingredients

  • 4 cups finely chopped cabbage
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • pinch of red pepper
  • 1 quart canned tomatoes
  • 1 pound ground beef, turkey, or sausage, browned

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients, except tomatoes, in a bowl.
  2. Place the mixture in a greased casserole dish.
  3. Pour canned tomatoes over the mixture.
  4. Bake in a 350°F oven for 45 to 60 minutes until the cabbage is tender.
