Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 3/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. dairy sour cream
  • 2 1/2 c. tomatoes or 1 pt. home canned tomatoes
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans beanless chili with meat
  • 8 oz. spaghetti
  • 3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add and brown garlic, chopped onion, and ground beef until cooked through.
  3. Drain off excess fat from the skillet.
  4. Add tomatoes and beanless chili with meat to the skillet.
  5. Simmer the mixture for about 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions and drain.
  7. Serve the chili mixture over cooked spaghetti, topped with shredded Cheddar cheese and sour cream.
