Ingredients

  • 1 (7 oz.) can whole green chiles
  • 1 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/2 lb. Jack cheese, grated
  • 1 tall can evaporated milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Rinse chiles, remove seeds, and place half of the chiles in a layer in a greased casserole dish.
  2. Sprinkle with half of both cheeses; add remaining chiles and top with remaining cheese.
  3. Beat eggs, flour, milk, and salt together until smooth.
  4. Pour over chili-cheese layers.
  5. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
