Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup low-fat plain yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound chicken breast

Instructions

  1. In a large glass baking dish, whisk together the yogurt, cinnamon, chili powder, hot pepper sauce, and minced garlic.
  2. Add the chicken breasts to the marinade and coat them thoroughly.
  3. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 500°F.
  5. Place the chicken skin side up on a raised broiler rack in the oven.
  6. Immediately reduce the oven temperature to 350°F and roast until the chicken breasts are cooked through and tender, about 45 minutes.
  7. Serve the chicken hot.
