Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. cabbage
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 can of milk
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 tbsp. margarine
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese

Instructions

  1. Chop the cabbage and place it in a saucepan.
  2. Add a small amount of water and cook for 10 minutes.
  3. Drain the cooked cabbage.
  4. Combine the cream of chicken soup and milk to make the soup mixture.
  5. Combine the bread crumbs and margarine to make the topping.
  6. Layer the cabbage, soup mixture, and grated cheese alternately in a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
  7. Top the casserole with the buttered bread crumbs.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
