Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 lb. ground pork
  • 1 (6 oz.) can minced clams
  • 1/2 carrot, grated
  • dash of garlic salt
  • 2 slices whole wheat bread
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak the bread slices in clam juice until softened.
  2. Mix together ground beef, ground pork, minced clams (including liquid), grated carrot, garlic salt, chopped celery, egg, and black pepper.
  3. Place the mixture into a large loaf pan.
  4. Bake in a 375°F oven for 46 to 60 minutes until cooked through.
