Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. onions
  • 1/3 c. minced green pepper
  • 1 medium garlic clove
  • 1 (16 oz.) can pinto or kidney beans
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. A.1. sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef until almost browned.
  2. Add the chopped onions, minced green pepper, and garlic.
  3. Continue cooking until vegetables are tender.
  4. Stir in the drained beans, tomatoes, tomato sauce, A.1. sauce, chili powder, and salt.
  5. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
