Chinese Crispy Wontons
Crispy, savory wontons filled with seasoned pork and water chestnuts, perfect as an appetizer or party snack with dipping sauces like sweet & sour or spicy mustard.

- Combine pork, water chestnuts, green onions, soy sauce, cornstarch, salt, and ginger in a medium bowl.
- Mix well to combine the filling ingredients.
- Place 1/2 teaspoon of pork mixture in the center of each wonton skin.
- Fold the wonton skin over the filling to form a triangle.
- Turn the top of the triangle down to meet the fold.
- Moisten one corner of the triangle with water.
- Overlap the opposite corner over the moistened corner and press together firmly.
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large saucepan to 375°F.
- Deep fry 3-4 wontons at a time for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Drain the fried wontons on paper towels.
- Serve hot with spicy mustard or sweet & sour sauce.
