- Add beaten egg and milk, stirring until smooth.

- Pour a thin stream of batter from a pitcher or funnel in a circular pattern, starting in the center and circling outward without stopping.
- Fry until golden brown.
- Turn with a fork and fry until golden on all sides.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve immediately with powdered sugar.
