Chocolate Cookie Bars
Decadent chocolate cookie bars with a crunchy cracker base, melted chocolate topping, and crunchy nuts, perfect for sharing at parties or enjoying as a sweet treat.

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Line a jelly roll pan with tinfoil.
- Lay saltine crackers flat to fill the entire pan.
- Melt butter and sugar together on the stove and bring to a boil.
- Spoon the butter/sugar mixture over the crackers without pouring.
- Place the pan in the oven for 5 minutes.
- Remove the pan from the oven and turn off the oven.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips over the crackers and return to the warm oven for a couple of minutes until melted.
- Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the crackers.
- Sprinkle chopped walnuts and powdered sugar over the chocolate.
- Cut the bars lengthwise into four rows, then cut each row at an angle to create pieces.
- Refrigerate until the bars are hard, then remove from the pan.
- Tear off the foil and break the bars into pieces.
- Optionally, sprinkle more powdered sugar on top before serving.
