- In a food processor, crush the chocolate wafers and add melted butter.
- Press the mixture into a 9-inch pie plate and freeze for 1 hour.
- In a double boiler or microwave, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips until smooth.
- In a bowl, whisk egg yolks and add Kahlua.
- Gradually add the melted chocolate to the egg mixture, stirring constantly.
- Whip 1 3/4 cups of heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form.
- Fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture gently.
- Pour the filling into the prepared crust and chill until set, about 2-3 hours.
- Whip the remaining 1 cup of heavy cream and garnish the pie before serving.
