Ingredients

  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted or slightly salted butter
  • 1 pound cocoa chocolate wafers
  • 2 tablespoons Grand Marnier or other liqueur

Instructions

  1. Place whipping cream and butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Bring to a full boil.
  3. Stir and let the mixture boil up again.
  4. Remove from stove; add the full pound of chocolate wafers.
  5. Stir until completely melted and smooth.
  6. Let set up overnight in a very cool place or cover and refrigerate after pouring into a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
  7. Using a small ice cream scoop or melon baller, form the mixture into balls.
  8. Roll the balls in macadamia nut bits, coconut, or your preferred coating.
