Ingredients

  • 1 large can asparagus pieces
  • 1 small onion
  • a few rashers fried bacon
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 1 tablespoon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Drain the canned asparagus and lay in a greased pie dish.
  3. Add grated onion and fried bacon slices on top.
  4. In a bowl, beat the eggs and then stir in flour, milk, grated cheese, and mustard until well combined.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the asparagus, onion, and bacon in the pie dish.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes or until set and golden on top.
