Ingredients

  • 3 lb chicken livers
  • 5 oz chopped onions
  • 5 hard-cooked eggs
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • paprika
  • seasoning salt

Instructions

  1. Cover chicken livers with water in a pot.
  2. Add paprika and simmer until no pink shows in the livers.
  3. Drain the livers and let them cool slightly.
  4. Saute chopped onions in butter until light brown.
  5. Chop cooked livers and hard-cooked eggs finely.
  6. Mix chopped livers, eggs, sautéed onions, mayonnaise, and seasonings such as salt, pepper, and paprika.
  7. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
