Ingredients

  • 1 gal. green tomatoes
  • 1 gal. red and green bell peppers
  • 1 c. minced hot peppers
  • 1/2 c. salt
  • 4 lb. onions
  • 4 heads cabbage
  • 3/4 gal. vinegar
  • 3 lb. brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Boil vinegar and sugar for 8 minutes.
  2. Cool.
  3. Put all vegetables through a coarse food chopper (processor).
  4. Add salt to vegetables; mix well and let stand for 4 hours.
  5. Squeeze all the juice out, then add cooled vinegar.
  6. Put in prepared jars and seal.
