Ingredients

  • 2 c. cake flour
  • 1 1/5 c. brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. butter
  • 1/3 c. shortening
  • 1 1/2 to 2 Tbsp. chunky peanut butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Mix the cake flour, brown sugar, butter, shortening, chunky peanut butter, and salt together in a mixer until combined.
  2. Add the egg yolk and vanilla to the mixture and blend until smooth, being careful not to overmix.
  3. While still warm, ice the mixture with fondant icing that includes chunky peanut butter.
  4. Cut into squares or rectangles like brownies and serve.
