Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup apple cider
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger

Instructions

  1. In a shallow dish, combine apple cider, soy sauce, olive oil, sugar, and ground ginger to make the marinade.
  2. Marinate the chicken breasts in the mixture overnight, turning occasionally.
  3. Pour off the marinade and reserve it for basting.
  4. Arrange the chicken in a baking pan and bake in a 400°F (200°C) oven for 30 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. Baste the chicken with the reserved marinade every 10 minutes during baking.
