Cindy'S Taco Soup

Ingredients
- 2 lb. lean ground beef ⓘ
- 2 c. chopped onion ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil ⓘ
- 1 (1.25 oz.) pkg. taco mix ⓘ
- 1 (.4 oz.) original Ranch dressing mix
- 4 (16 oz.) cans diced tomatoes ⓘ
- 1 (16 oz.) can pinto beans, undrained ⓘ
- 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, undrained ⓘ
- 1 (16 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained ⓘ
- 1 (4 oz.) can green chilies, drained and chopped ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. salt ⓘ
Instructions
- Sauté onions in oil until translucent.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in taco mix and Ranch dressing mix.
- Add diced tomatoes, pinto beans, kidney beans, drained corn, chopped green chilies, and salt.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Serve hot with nacho chips, grated cheese, and sour cream.
