Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup white corn syrup
  • 2 cups peanut butter
  • 6 cups corn flakes
  • 6 ounces chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Bring the sugar and corn syrup to a boil.
  2. Add the peanut butter and stir until smooth.
  3. Mix in the corn flakes until well coated.
  4. Pour the mixture into a buttered 9 x 13-inch pan and spread evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the chocolate chips on top of the mixture.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 5 minutes.
  7. Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the top and let set until firm.
