Classy Chicken is a creamy, cheesy casserole layered with chicken, green chilies, and crunchy corn chips, perfect for a comforting family dinner or casual gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup or cream of celery soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 soup can milk
  • 1 can (4 oz.) chopped green chilies
  • 1 small onion
  • 12 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 bag (11 oz.) corn chips or tostados
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked chicken, chopped

Instructions

  1. Combine the cream of mushroom or celery soup, cream of chicken soup, milk, chopped green chilies, chopped onion, and cooked chicken in a bowl.
  2. In a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish, arrange 2 layers of corn chips.
  3. Spread half of the chicken mixture over the first layer of chips.
  4. Sprinkle half of the grated Cheddar cheese over the chicken mixture.
  5. Add another layer of corn chips, then the remaining chicken mixture, and top with the remaining cheese.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes or until piping hot.
