Coated Walnut Halves

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 egg whites, room temperature
  • 4 c. walnuts

Instructions

  1. Melt butter on a cookie sheet that has sides.
  2. Beat egg whites well and add sugar.
  3. Coat well.
  4. Put onto melted butter on cookie sheet.
  5. Bake in a 250° oven; stir every 10 minutes for 1/2 hour.
