Ingredients

  • 4 cups apples or peaches
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups Jiffy mix
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Combine the sliced apples or peaches with sugar and cinnamon in a mixing bowl.
  2. Pour the fruit mixture into a baking dish.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the Jiffy mix, egg, and melted butter until combined.
  4. Pour the batter evenly over the fruit mixture.
  5. In a small bowl, combine half a cup of sugar, a little flour, cinnamon, and a few small pieces of butter until crumbly.
  6. Sprinkle the crumb topping evenly over the batter.
  7. Bake at 375°F for 20 minutes.
  8. Then, sprinkle the crumb topping again and bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden.
