Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 2 teaspoons orange rind
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 1/2 cups biscuit mix
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Simmer 1/4 cup butter, sugar, orange juice, and orange rind for 5 minutes.
  2. Pour half of the syrup into a 9-inch square pan.
  3. Stir milk into biscuit mix until well combined.
  4. Roll out the dough into a 9 x 14-inch rectangle on a floured surface.
  5. Brush the rolled-out dough with melted butter.
  6. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon evenly over the dough.
  7. Arrange drained, sliced peaches over the dough.
  8. Roll the dough from the short side into a log.
  9. Cut the rolled dough into 1-inch slices.
  10. Place the slices in the prepared hot syrup in the pan.
  11. Bake in a hot oven at 425°F for 15 minutes.
  12. Pour remaining syrup over the rolls.
  13. Continue baking for an additional 10 minutes.
  14. Serve warm with cream.
