Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in a 9 x 9-inch microwave-safe dish.
  2. Mix water, vegetable oil, vinegar, and vanilla until well blended.
  3. Stir the wet ingredients into the flour mixture until smooth.
  4. Microwave on High for 6 to 7 minutes, rotating 1/4 turn twice, until a pick inserted near the center comes out clean.
