Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 2 lb. confectioners sugar
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 lb. coconut
  • chocolate chips
  • paraffin wax

Instructions

  1. Mix melted butter (not hot), confectioners sugar, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and coconut. Let cool in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  2. Shape the cooled mixture into balls.
  3. Melt chocolate chips and paraffin wax in a double boiler.
  4. Dip the coconut balls into the melted chocolate mixture.
  5. Remove and place on a buttered cookie sheet.
  6. Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
