Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup chopped onions
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 box Velveeta cheese
  • 10.5 ounces picante sauce
  • 1 pound ground beef (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the chopped onions in margarine until tender.
  2. While onions are cooking, add flour to the milk and stir well.
  3. Add the cooked onions to the milk mixture.
  4. Cut Velveeta cheese into small chunks and add to the mixture.
  5. Simmer until cheese melts and mixture thickens, adding more cheese if desired.
  6. Stir in picante sauce before serving.
