Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Pour boiling water over oatmeal.
  2. Let stand 10 minutes.
  3. Add brown sugar, sugar and butter to mixture; stir until butter melts. Add eggs, mixing well.
  4. Sift together the flour, baking soda, salt and cocoa and add to mixture.
  5. Add 1/2 package chocolate chips. Pour batter into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
  6. Sprinkle walnuts and 1/2 package chocolate chips over batter.
  7. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
