Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Cream together sugar and margarine.
  2. Add sour cream, vanilla, and eggs, beating by hand.
  3. Gradually stir in flour, baking soda, and salt until combined.
  4. Chill the dough for a few hours.
  5. Roll out dough and cut shapes with cookie cutters.
  6. Place cutouts on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake at 325°F for 10 to 12 minutes until lightly golden.
  8. Let cool before serving.
