Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Shredded coconut
  • Granulated sugar
  • Brown sugar
  • Baking soda
  • Topping (whipped topping)
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup margarine
  • Walnuts
  • Semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix granulated sugar, margarine, vanilla, and egg until well combined.
  3. Stir in flour, baking soda, and semi-sweet chocolate chips until the dough is stiff.
  4. Spread or pat the dough in an ungreased 12-inch pizza pan or cookie sheet.
  5. Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Let the cookie pizza cool completely.
  7. Just before serving, spread whipped topping over the cooled cookie.
  8. Sprinkle with walnuts, shredded coconut, and candies or toppings of your choice.
  9. Cut into wedges and serve. Refrigerate any remaining portions.
