Ingredients

  • 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 packages yeast
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups very hot water
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • Confectioners Sugar Frosting

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix 2 cups of flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. Add margarine to the dry ingredients.
  3. Gradually add very hot water to the mixture.
  4. Beat for 2 minutes.
  5. Add eggs and 1 cup of flour to the mixture.
  6. Beat at high speed for 2 minutes.
