Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped white onion
  • 1 cup chopped green onion
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 6 boiled eggs
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sage
  • 2 tablespoons poultry seasoning
  • 9 cups cornbread
  • 2 cups bread crumbs
  • Juice from baked turkey or 3 cans chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Sauté chopped celery and onions in butter until tender.
  2. Add the sautéed vegetables to the cornbread and bread crumbs.
  3. Chop the boiled eggs and add to the mixture.
  4. Add salt, pepper, sage, poultry seasoning, and broth; mix well.
