- Prepare the stuffing mix according to the package directions, substituting beer for water if desired.
- Place half of the prepared stuffing in a large greased 11 x 14-inch baking pan.
- Arrange half of the dried fruits, nuts, and oysters in rows or keep all fruits on one side, on top of the first layer of stuffing.
- Add the remaining stuffing over the layer of fruits, nuts, and oysters to form the top layer.
- Place the remaining fruits, nuts, and oysters on top in the same pattern as before.
- This dish can be prepared several hours in advance.
- Just before serving, warm in the oven uncovered.
