Ingredients

  • 2 cups cut okra
  • 1 can whole kernel corn
  • 1 can tomatoes or 3 medium size tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup bell pepper
  • 1 celery rib, chopped

Instructions

  1. Place cut okra in a baking pan or dish.
  2. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic to taste.
  3. Add chopped onion, bell pepper, and chopped celery.
  4. Sprinkle with flour and fry on low heat until the onion is limp.
  5. Add corn and tomatoes, then continue cooking on low heat for about 30 to 45 minutes.
  6. Stir frequently to prevent sticking.
