Ingredients

  • 18 large ears of corn
  • 6 large bell peppers
  • 6 large onions
  • 2 small cabbages
  • 1/2 gal vinegar
  • 2 pt sugar
  • 3 Tbsp turmeric
  • 1/2 to 1 small box dry mustard
  • 1 Tbsp salt

Instructions

  1. Cut the corn off the cob and scrape the cob.
  2. Mix all ingredients except sugar in a pot and cook for about 15 minutes.
  3. Add sugar to the mixture and cook until tender.
  4. Pour the hot sauce into sterilized jars and seal.
