A creamy corn casserole with green pepper and onion, topped with buttery cracker crumbs, perfect as a comforting side dish for family dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cream-style corn
  • 2 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green pepper
  • 1 cup cracker crumbs
  • 2/3 cup canned milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Mix cream-style corn, chopped onion, and chopped green pepper in a bowl.
  2. Place half of the corn mixture in the bottom of a 1-quart buttered casserole dish.
  3. Sprinkle half of the cracker crumbs over the corn mixture.
  4. Add the remaining corn mixture on top.
  5. Sprinkle the rest of the cracker crumbs over the top.
  6. Mix canned milk, salt, and pepper in a small bowl and pour over the casserole.
  7. Dab butter on the top of the casserole.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
