Tips & Substitutions

For a creamier texture, consider adding a cup of sour cream or cream cheese to the mixture before baking. You can use cooked quinoa or couscous as a substitute for rice if desired. To enhance flavor, add a teaspoon of garlic powder or some fresh herbs like basil or oregano. If you want a spicy kick, diced jalapeños can be incorporated.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place in the oven at 350°F for about 15-20 minutes or until heated through, covering with foil to prevent drying out. Alternatively, you can microwave individual portions for 2-3 minutes.
