Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons vinegar

Instructions

  1. Cream together the sugar and butter; add eggs and vanilla.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
  3. Alternately add the dry ingredients and milk with vinegar to the creamed mixture, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients.
  4. Drop by teaspoons onto a cookie sheet.
  5. Bake at 350°F until set but not brown.
