Corn Topped Meat Squares
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef ⓘ
- 1/3 c. fine dry bread crumbs ⓘ
- 1/4 c. ketchup ⓘ
- 1/4 c. minced onion ⓘ
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce ⓘ
- 1 tsp. salt ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp. ground pepper ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder ⓘ
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. milk ⓘ
- 1 (8 1/2 oz.) can creamed corn ⓘ
- 1 (7 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained ⓘ
- 3/4 c. shredded Cheddar or American cheese ⓘ
Instructions
- Combine beef, crumbs, ketchup, onion, Worcestershire sauce and seasonings.
- Pat the mixture evenly in a 9-inch baking pan. Combine egg, milk and corn.
- Pour over meat.
- Bake in a preheated 375° oven for 35 minutes.
- Sprinkle cheese over top and bake another 5 minutes.
- Serves 4 to 6.
- Double recipe for a 9 x 13-inch pan.
