- Early in the day or the day before, heat the ribs to boiling in an uncovered saucepan with enough water to cover.
- Simmer on low for one hour or until fork-tender.
- Drain the ribs.
- Place ribs in barbecue sauce and refrigerate until ready to use.
- Cook the ribs on a grill, broiler, or in the oven for 30 minutes.
- Be careful not to overcook, as the meat has been precooked.
- It only needs to be well heated through to bring out the flavor of the marinated meat.
- You can use the sieved broth for soup if desired.
