Ingredients

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 pkg. (3 oz.) cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 2 cans (7 1/2 oz.) crab meat

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine cream of mushroom soup, cream cheese, and chopped onion. Heat until the cheese is melted.
  2. Blend in mayonnaise and remove from heat.
  3. In another pan, sprinkle gelatin over cold water and stir over low heat until gelatin dissolves.
  4. Stir the gelatin mixture into the soup mixture.
  5. Add drained and flaked crab meat and chopped celery to the mixture.
  6. Pour the mixture into a 6-cup mold.
  7. Refrigerate for 6 hours or overnight until set.
  8. Unmold onto a serving plate and serve as a spread with crackers.
