Crab Stuffed Jalapenos

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. flaked crab meat
  • 1 (1 lb. 11 oz.) can jalapeno peppers
  • 2 Tbsp. each, finely chopped: green peppers, onions and dill pickles
  • 1/4 c. cracker meal
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • Breading Mixture

Instructions

  1. Cut peppers in half lengthwise.
  2. Remove and discard pulp and seeds; rinse carefully.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine remaining ingredients, except for breading mixture.
  4. Stuff peppers with crab mixture; press remaining stuffing around pepper.
  5. Set aside to prepare breading mixture.
