Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup tomato juice
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon chopped celery
  • 12 strips bacon, cut in half crosswise
  • 1 well beaten egg
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon chopped parsley
  • 1 (6 1/2 oz.) can crabmeat

Instructions

  1. Mix tomato juice and well beaten egg.
  2. Add breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, chopped celery, and crabmeat. Mix well.
  3. Roll the mixture into finger-length shapes.
  4. Wrap each roll with half a strip of bacon.
  5. Broil, turning to brown evenly.
  6. Fry in an electric frying pan, pouring off grease as it accumulates.
