Ingredients

  • 1 cup syrup
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 1 teaspoon cloves
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 8 white crackers, rolled
  • 1/2 to 1 cup raisins
  • 1 large 10-inch or 2 small pie shells

Instructions

  1. Cream together the sugar and syrup until well combined.
  2. Add the beaten eggs, water, vinegar, margarine, allspice, cloves, and cinnamon to the mixture and stir thoroughly.
  3. Pour the filling into the prepared pie shell(s).
  4. Bake in a 350°F oven for 50 to 55 minutes until the filling is set and golden.
